Our building, which was completed in 2004, stands on the site of a former single-storey factory unit (which itself served as our church building for 10 years).  This original building was extended outwards and upwards to create a multi-purpose conference centre with a coffee shop and full catering facilities.  Arena contains a variety of meeting rooms, including the 300 seater first-floor main hall.

Over the past five years, Arena has developed into a hive of activity with many organisations holding conferences, and all kinds of groups of clubs using the building on a weekly basis, not to mention the vast range of dance classes, catering to a variety of styles, that run from the dance studio.  We are open every day of the week, from 9 in the morning, with both church and community activities lasting late into the evening.  Arena is a landmark building in our community and would certainly be known to the majority of people in the town, and to many in the surrounding areas.

What was once a run-down back corner of the town, when the site was first purchased in 1993, has now become a commercial hub, with two major supermarkets, fast food outlets and a brand new bypass creating a more direct link with the M1.  Arena is in a prime location,  but yet our vision is to grow and that means eventually outgrowing this building, so who knows what the future holds?
