Hi Gang

Christmas Greetings from Myself, Caroline and the Children.

As you can appreciate we receive an enormous amount of cards from all the church family so we thought it would be good to send out our Christmas greetings to everyone through e mail.

2010 has been a mixed year – Full of challenges and excitement all at the same time. We have seen Foodbank launched with literally scores of people being now fed each week and Arena Church Mansfield launching in September:- its great to see the beginnings of this new church in Mansfield. We’ve seen people find Christ, baptised and finding their place to serve! Universal Youth continues to expand in grace and number whilst Arena Hope continues to see increase and have a very positive impact upon the community.

We feel very privileged to have been extended the opportunity by God and the people to care for and lead the church. I must express great thanks and appreciation to Phil and Sharon who continue to do a sterling job in so many areas! Also to the Executive team and Staff who offer great leadership, administration and care to the church. – IT TAKES A TEAM!

PLUS – A big high five needs to go to all the Team leaders and volunteers; without YOU we would not be able to accomplish as much as we presently do!

I am very hopeful for the future of the church its great to see an increased outward focus that’s impacting the communities in which we serve.

I know many people this year who have experienced loss, pain, sickness and great uncertainty: our prayer is that “the peace of God that doesn’t make sense” would surround you at this time! Our prayer is that each and every person would know the Joy of the saviour.

At our weekly team staff meeting, one of the team felt urged to encourage us that 2010 has been a year of foundation laying ready for 2011 which will be a year of Growth! – May this be so.

Thank you for all those who have given, supported, sacrificed and served over this past year – may God bless you richly!

Arena Church, we love and appreciate you and pray God’s best upon your lives.

Wishing you a wonderful, peaceful and joyful Christmas and believing for a fantastic New Year!

Love from an excited pastor!

Kristian and Caroline
