Family Fun Weekend – 18th & 19th September

An update to the announcement made at the beginning of the summer. The Family Fun Weekend is planned for 18th & 19th September.

Saturday 18th September 10am – 3pm
To meet at Highfields Park, University Boulevard, Nottingham. Bring your own picnic lunch, enjoy fun and games, a stroll in the park and relaxation. Something for all to enjoy.

Sunday 19th September
Come and enjoy breakfast from 10am followed by one service at 11am with guest speaker. For the kids and young at heart there will be some inflatable fun and refreshments following the service.

David Shearman at Mansfield

On 17th October, we are very pleased to welcome David Shearman, who will be joining us at our 6pm service in Mansfield.  We have been privileged to host David at Ilkeston on a number of occasions, and he has always brought a great word of inspiration and challenge to us.

David Shearman leads a vibrant growing church of over 1400 people representing more than 40 nationalities; he is an author and International Speaker with a particular focus on training leaders.  David operates with a strong apostolic and prophetic anointing that sharpens, shapes and impacts leaders around the world.  He is passionately committed to the local church and utterly sold out on its true Biblical destiny.  He is married to Dorothy and they have two children and four grandchildren.

There will also be worship from the Arena Church worship team, and refreshments will be served afterwards.  As in all our services, visitors are most welcome to join us for this event.

Geoff Pickup at Mansfield

On Sunday 26th September, we will be welcoming Geoff Pickup to our 6pm service in Mansfield.

Geoff has been married to Jean since 1972.  They have been in Leadership at New Life Christian Centre Derby for 37 years.  Prior to full time ministry, Geoff was an Education Advisor for ethnic minorities with Derbyshire County Council.  They have three grown up children, now in their thirties.  Four grandchildren keep them fresh!  New Life, Derby, is an inner-city church of over 500 people embracing in excess of thirty nationalities, the church has a social action programme both locally and across the world.

This will be a great night, with worship from our Arena Church worship team and refreshments served afterwards.  Visitors are very welcome as always.

Gary Rucci at Ilkeston

On Sunday 5th September, as well as launching our extension service in Mansfield, we will also be joined by Gary Rucci, who will be speaking at our 9am and 11am services in Ilkeston.
