Arena Church is a place where everyone can belong, our ethos is that “everybody is somebody at Arena”. This is no new idea of ours, it comes from the heart of Jesus, he hung around with the majestic and maligned, the businessman and the beggar, the politician and the prostitute and he loved them all. Jesus heart is for everybody, and that is our heart at Arena. We are seeking to build a Church that reaches every area of society, where everyone is welcomed with open arms. Wherever you are in your life, you will be welcomed at the Arena.
Our Sunday services reflect the inclusive nature of Jesus, whether you have never stepped foot in a Church and just want to ‘see what it’s all about’ or whether you have been in Church your whole life, there is something for you. Our services reflect the greatness of our God alongside the reality of our humanity. They are passionate, intimate, exciting and engaging as we seek to go on this journey called life together. We don’t want you to put on a mask or a facade, we want you to come as you are.
We are one Church in many locations. Each of our campuses reflects the heart of Arena but also the community in which we are placed. We would love to welcome you to one of our campuses this week.
All of our Campuses come under the leadership of Kristian and Caroline who have been in the church for nearly 20 years. Kristian has been involved in church leadership 1992 and has a passion for church planting. You can check out their full bio by looking at our About page.
Phil has been part of the Senior Leadership Team at Arena Church since the summer of 2007. During this time he has also served the Assemblies of God denomination which Arena Church belongs to as a Regional Superintendent and for the last eight years until May 2019 as a member of the National Leadership Team.
Phil and his wife Sharon celebrated 40 years of marriage in July, and in all that time they have also been in Christian Ministry serving at three other churches.
Phil loves to see people come to faith and then grow in their gift and call, he seeks to help in this by pastoring, teaching and training.
He is the proud granddad of three ‘little ones’ – Charlotte, Caleb and Arrietty – who keep him on his toes. As time allows, Phil enjoys trying to keep fit, watching sport, current affairs and always having a book ‘on the go’ to read.
Due to the latest Government lockdown Arena Church will continue ONLINE only on Sundays at 10:30am and 6pm. Please see our Church Online page for further details.
