Arena Church is a place where everyone can belong, our ethos is that “everybody is somebody at Arena”. This is no new idea of ours, it comes from the heart of Jesus, he hung around with the majestic and maligned, the businessman and the beggar, the politician and the prostitute and he loved them all. Jesus heart is for everybody, and that is our heart at Arena. We are seeking to build a Church that reaches every area of society, where everyone is welcomed with open arms. Wherever you are in your life, you will be welcomed at the Arena.
Our Sunday services reflect the inclusive nature of Jesus, whether you have never stepped foot in a Church and just want to ‘see what it’s all about’ or whether you have been in Church your whole life, there is something for you. Our services reflect the greatness of our God alongside the reality of our humanity. They are passionate, intimate, exciting and engaging as we seek to go on this journey called life together. We don’t want you to put on a mask or a facade, we want you to come as you are.
We are one Church in many locations. Each of our campuses reflects the heart of Arena but also the community in which we are placed. We would love to welcome you to one of our campuses this week.
All of our Campuses come under the leadership of Kristian and Caroline who have been in the church for nearly 20 years. Kristian has been involved in church leadership 1992 and has a passion for church planting. You can check out their full bio by looking at our About page.
Jono and Annie Kirk have been happily married since 2017 and are taking a lead as Campus Coordinators at our Nottingham Campus, established in September 2019. Both are Youth Pastors at Arena Church, and Annie is a Senior Worship Leader across all of our campuses.
Jono is a passionate leader who has a heart for all people to realise their potential, and especially for the young generation that is emerging. He loves the city of Nottingham and wants to see God move across all of our locations.
He is an avid Manchester United supporter and since 2013 has run a vintage musical instrument business with his business partner.
Jono’s heroes are Billy Graham and Richard Branson, both of whom inspire him to preach and lead the young people across Arena Church. Together, Jono and Annie want to help the people of Nottingham to know Jesus and to love and serve our world.
Arena Church in Nottingham has a service every Sunday – if you’ve missed any or would like to hear the teachings from previous services, listen to the podcast below.
