Back in the 80’s there was a TV series called ‘A-Team’. John ‘Hannibal’ Smith was the leader of an ex-army special forces team and I loved this series. It aired on Saturday evenings and it was an hour where good always overcomes evil! Why do I say all this? John ‘Hannibal’ Smith had a catchphrase that was: “I love it when a plan comes together.”
Since 2018 up to now we have had a plan that is centered around the thought of making a difference, impacting people and leaving a legacy. It’s been wonderful to see this plan come together! Through the Legacy Offering we have been able to serve, reach, help, support and love so many in our locations, communities and in our world. Through outreach, purchase of vehicles, renovations of buildings and the launch of new ministries we’ve impacted thousands.
A verse in the bible that continues to mean so much to me is found in Proverbs 29:18, it reads ‘Where there is no vision, the people perish.’ Without vision people fall and often fail! So I am so glad we belong to a visionary church that has a plan and it’s amazing to see so many people engaged in the vision through serving, praying and sacrificially giving to this.
Please read on throughout the pages of this book. Come and see where we’ve come from and where we are going. There is more land to possess, Deuteronomy 1:8 “See I have given you this land.”
In a year of ‘Founded’ we want to continue to lay strong deep foundations that will continue to envision us way beyond today and that will leave a legacy to touch the next generation.
